About Arnie McNair

Our Story

Arnie McNair started with a Twitter account and a simple belief:

Golf clothing lost its way. We’re restoring it.

Somewhere along the line it became synthetic, loud, and over engineered. Plastic fabrics. Oversized logos. Trend driven design chasing attention instead of feel.

That isn’t golf.

Golf is tradition. Texture. Restraint. Cotton that breathes. Cashmere that softens with time. Shirts that look better the tenth round than the first.

What started as commentary turned into conviction. Conviction turned into samples. Samples turned into production. And production turned into a company built on one idea:

Return golf apparel to its roots.

We choose American grown cotton, Supima, cashmere, and cotton twill because natural fibers move better, breathe better, and age better. Performance should never come at the cost of feel.

We do not use visible logos. Golf clothing is not a billboard. Good design speaks quietly.

Our proportions are classic. Tailored but not tight. Refined but never restrictive. Clothing that fits the way golf clothes always should have.

We build deliberately. We manufacture in the United States wherever possible. When we go elsewhere, we do it for craftsmanship and we say so plainly.

Arnie McNair is independent by design. No trends. No private equity. No shortcuts.

Golf does not need to be reinvented.

It just needs to be done right.

West Virginia

We are in the process of moving our American production to West Virginia, where we are proud to support a 50-year-old factory that has spent its entire history making products for the United States military.

For five decades, the people there have cut and sewn garments with a standard dictated by function, durability, and purpose. It is real American manufacturing, built by generations of skilled craftspeople who know how to make things that are meant to last.

We believe that kind of manufacturing is worth preserving.

Moving production there is about more than where our clothes are made. It is about supporting American workers, investing in an American factory, and helping keep a tradition of domestic textile and garment manufacturing alive.

The products are different. The principles are not.

Make it here. Make it well. Make it to last.

We Stand Behind What We Make

We believe you should feel confident buying from us. If you receive something and it is not right for you, we will work to make it right.

We offer returns and exchanges and stand behind our products with a money-back guarantee. If there is a problem with something we made, we take responsibility for it.

We are a small, independent company. We will not always get everything perfect. But we will listen, learn, and do right by our customers.

Our name is on every product we sell, even when our logo isn't.

If we make it, we stand behind it.

Our Values

Respect the Game
Golf needs stewardship, not reinvention.

Make Things Here Where Possible
American manufacturing keeps us accountable to quality, craft, and the people behind the product. When we go elsewhere, we are transparent and we do it for craftsmanship.

Natural Over Synthetic
Natural fibers breathe, move, and age better. Performance should feel good, not artificial.

Craftsmanship First
If it does not meet our standards, it does not ship.

Stand Behind What We Make
Returns, exchanges, and a money-back guarantee. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.

Restraint Is a Feature
No loud logos. No gimmicks. Confidence does not need volume.

Timeless Beats Trendy
We build for years, not seasons.

Independence
We answer to no trends, no private equity, and no mass production.
